Test-fitter needed

I just got in a small shipment of illuminated shift knobs. Hopefully I'll get a pic or two up tonight. The illumination is blue and the knob itself is chrome. It's a universal-fit
and uses hidden allen bolts.

I am looking for someone to do an install, take some pics, and then do a how-to write-up. I got them from a company in Germany called CSE-Essen (used to be Postert--Matty will remember this name!) and the instructions are in German. And the
accompanying illustration is awful.

The shift knob would be yours to keep if you want it.

postert.. they made either a really awesome or really hideous body kit for the p-fizzle :P

if it lit up red I'd be interested. I love oem knobs that have light-up shift patterns on them, so pimp.

I'm glad to see postert made it through chapter 13 alright!

njaremka Jun 5, 2007 11:12 AM

i'll do it - send me a PM

The Postert Hero kit was the shiznit, and you can still get it. I wish I had the money, it's so expensive.
I am not into body kits that much but the Hero kit was just hawtness.
Matty tried to get something going with them a few years back, but the pricing was just out of reach once you added in the shipping, even by boat.

Big + Light stuff + shipping FTL :(

If these shift knobs sell well enough I may try to import some of their wheels.

Nik, you've got a PM.

oh right.. this one.. yeah pretty sweet looking, the only decent aftermarket body anything for these cars

it does f*ck the front and rear fender flare look of the Protege5 though.. makes it look like the dx/lx/es

KrazyKAZ Jun 5, 2007 12:12 PM

I'll do it!

I live 10 minutes from you!

Jackelope Jun 5, 2007 12:28 PM

haha.. looks like you have enough takers :) - or i'd hit it... i mean do it.

njaremka Jun 5, 2007 12:36 PM

Good looking knob - wow that sounds wrong...

Too bad the options for an auto shift knob aren't as cool.

kargoboy Jun 5, 2007 03:49 PM

That is the correct knob, yes.

jzoomer Jun 5, 2007 04:18 PM

ill do it pm me take lots of good pics and detailed how to

kargoboy Jun 5, 2007 05:36 PM

Sorry, I 've already got it set up with Nik.
Thanks for everyone who volunteered, though.

Any light up knobs available for an automatic? I think it'd look real good on my car, but I need one with a button.
