I've had two sunroofs installed in cars, a 1988 MX-6 and a 1996 Intrepid. Both were performed at Ziebart, and I had no problems with either one, ever. They were simple, cheap, and manually operated. The kind that popped up and could completely remove. A friend of mine has one that is electric. It slides up and back (above the roof of the car). He gets some leakage around the switch that operates it. If you get an aftermarket sunroof, I would recommend one that is manually operated, there are fewer parts to have problems with. Also, get one with tinted glass, not one with tiny little dots of black paint, as a sort of fake tint. Those look horrible.
