sunroof
There is a burn in the sunroof of my friends car, from a cigarette (I did not mean to). Is there any way where you could just switch it or repair the actual material???? PLEASE GET BACK TO ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's probably a small shitload of work, but of course it can be fixed.
See how hard it is to remove the entire headliner from the car - might be a pain, but this is the only way. Once the headliner is out, the sunshade should be accessible. Remove it, and see about getting a piece of headliner material - try any shopthat works on interiors, or that installs convertible tops and sunroofs. for the small piece you need, they may just give you a piece of scrap. Then re-cover the ENTIRE shade, removing the old stuff first if necessary. Ask the shop for installation advice. Another option - just get it done professionally. I can't see it costing much more than $100 or so at most, and you know you'll get a good job. ~HH |
