Sub/amp noise

I just installed a A8000T amp and 2 AW1251T subs in my Protege5. And when I start the car and let it idle and accelerate it picks up noise. like if I start the car this rumbling noise will start and if i rev the engine it goes along with the engine. i think its picking up engine noise or iginition noise. But if anyone knows how to fix this I would greatly appricate it because it is annoying as hell!

same thing ahppens to me once in a while, i was told by some guy whos crazy into audio crap that its got to do with the actual radio, cause i got the stock stereo and cd player, and i guess its supposed ot relate somehow to that, i dunno if its bs but if u dont have an aftermarket cd player ect. maybe we got a similar issue. =\

have a good solid ground?

is the amp in the rear?

make sure the RCAs and power wire are separate from each other. ie. run the rcas along the passenger side and the power on the driver side. that should eliminate the problem.

we figured it out (me and dad) the amp wiring in the audiobahn book was wrong. the way they showed the high-end (rear speakers wires that most HU using use)
It was causing the signals to "cancel" each other out. once we did that the noise went away. If you need I can tell you which wires do what. Some are posted here but the colors change with the years.

As P5 stated, make sure you ground is good on both the amp connection and where ever it grounds too...running the RCAs and the power wires can make you pick up some noise, but with good RCA's, its rare...but it may help too.
