I installed mine, Proteges have the perfect places. Just take a look under the car and figure it out. No offence but a monkey could figure it out.

Thats what i figured.. the sides are perfect with the edge that runs down the sides... just worried about the front and back.. specially when i'm putting the erebuni on this winter..

ah well... like you said.. i'm sure a monkey could figure it out.. just was lookin for tips..

thanks,

Front spots for GFX

I found the most awesome spot to put a neon in the front of the 2gen. If you still have the stock front bumber you can attach the light to inside the front grill in front of the radiator. If you open the hood up and take off that front lip you can thread in a 36" tube. I then attached the neon in behind the black mesh where the flying M is. There are plenty of support pieces to connect it to and then I slipped zip ties (black) through the front grill to hold it in place. I also put a second tube in the bottom intake spot and attached it with screws to the bottom plastic guard. This lights up the whole front compartment and leaks on to the ground. You can cut a larger hole in the bottom plastic to get a better effect. Uber cool though.

Also looks cool with windshield washer lights (but a pain to install)

Pics of grill

This is what the Front of my 98 looks like at night. Soon to be added are the side GFX. I really like the grill with the two washers.... just need some fog lights and eyebrows for front head lights.....

If you new where this exterior 2nd gen topic should go , then why put it in basic 2nd gen section for ....

nicksprotege June-20th-2003 01:28 AM

Its not that big of a deal. it is general too. i mean come on

Bestrafe June-20th-2003 02:03 AM

ok so i installed them.. i can kinda see the bottom half of the lights on the sides of the car.. but when i get my erebuni side skirts, that should cover them.. they are really bright.. Street Glow Gold.. I like it.
