Stock trunk lights

Dammit, I posted a while ago about the center trunk lights that had no amber in them. Bruce replied and I think he said that those were from the 97. Couldn't find it using the search.

Anyways, I'm going to a recycler tommorrow to hopefully find my beautiful amber-free trunk lights. That'll give me a better excuse for my full body kit because Amber does not mix with red and my maroonish color :)

Kinda like regular civic tail lights vs Si tail lights...

PRAY FOR ME!!!!! :P

Are you talking about the licence plate lights, because those should just be a plastic cover over a clear bulb. I painted mine with iodised blue to give it a blue tint. If it is just the cover that should be easy to find

doesn't matter what year. If you see a pro without the amber on the center garnish take it. Its off 97/98.

BTW be careful tightening the new one on, the bolt heads are actually plastic and if you use too much torque you'll strip it like I did. I'm referring to the two bolts on either side of it.

This has also been discussed in the "j-spec tails" thread

The screws also snap in two, especially if they are older like on our cars. I lost two after taking them off of the front plastic cover that sits over the radiator under the hood.
