Stock Head Unit - CDRW
 

Quick question guys and gals...I'm getting my 2003 P5 next week. Does the factory cd player play cdrw discs??? Thanks.

Before removing my factory HU in my 2001 Pro., it played them with no problem.

My 2001 factory HU would play CDRW's only if they were fully erased before burning @ 2X max. :mad:

I am not positive, but some one on www.msprotege.com may have had trouble with CDRWs in his stereo because he had a faster burner. I'll have to check and see. Regardless, my brother burned CDs for me with his faster than my CD burner and I had no problems.

Thanks for the info MisterT. I always burn my music cd's at 2X. Hopefully there shouldn't be any problems. Thanks again...
