Spray on wax?
I have seen this before on TV (heh) just curious if it is good. Obviously not as good as if done by hand but time saving. Also what is a good brand?

Are you talking simialar to the Meguirs? Spray on Wax and detail?
|
I saw something that you just connected to the water hose before.
Or like this:http://waxdepot.safeshopper.com/images/bn0yhpg5.jpg |
That spray on stuff is about as good as not waxing at all. Just think when you go to a car wash and you have the water and wax together more water has to be sprayed thru the nosels (sp) then the wax that will come out to pressurize it.

Eagle One is awesome....i always use it and yeah its a little faster than regular wax...but if you dont take your time then the wax does nothing. I always put a good amount of wax and make sure to get it all out and it really really helps...i usually never have waterspots...try it out.

Yeah, I've used the eagle 1 stuff too. It's great stuff, it just doesn't last very long so you have to use everytime you wash your car.

I have used the Meguirs spray on wax a few times. It definitely makes a difference.
But nothing beats a regular polish & wax finish. Obviously the spray on is for convenience. |
I recently used eagle 1 nanowax, dispite the bottle directions, you do need to wipe it off. I've got new black paint, but you can see light streak marks until it's dried and you wipe it like mad and carefully look at the reflection. If used in the sun you can't really get the marks to go away at all.
You can use it on plastic and glass, ends up kind of like rain-X washer fluid but not quite as much water rolloff on the windows. |
