Spoiler Installation

I'm installing a spoiler with the LED light and I need to know where the third brake light wire runs, what is looks like and the easiest way to get to it. Any clues??

Which generation Protege are you referring to? Give us a little information so we can help you better. I know the 1st gen LX already has a wire harness and connector specifically for the spoiler. It's located in the trunk lid.

yeah the wire and plug should already be in the trunk , I know with my 1995 dx it is ,,, just pop the trunk and snoop around a little bit , there should be a wire that has a white connection that is not connected to anything ...

if you wanna tap off the third brake light, the wires most likely run under the rear deck (where your rear speakers are) If you don't see them from inside the trunk, then they may run under the deck panel (between the panel and the metal) find the wire that shows 12v+ when the brakes are pressed (the other wire is a ground) tap your (+) spoiler LED wire to the wire that shows the 12v+ then the spoilers (-) ground wire to the other wire at the 3rd brake light. Then remove the bulb or leave the 3rd brake light disconnected. You don't need a spoiler LED and a rear deck light.

If you tap off a regular brake light, same principle, find the wire that shows 12+ when the brakes are pressed and then either use the bulbs ground wire or ground the spoiler LED wherever, but this time plug the connector back into the lens :)
