SPL and stock alternator

I have 3rd Gen Protege with SPL setup. My last year system drew 450 amp at each burp in competition with 2 volt loss. My battery system was 2 Turbostart batteries at 16 volts with a Boostbox that charged the 16 volts section at 10 amp max. My alternator is STOCK at 80 amp 13.8 volts. I try to upgrade it with AC Delco technician but its very difficult because the voltage are regulated by car CPU. My actual system draw 800 amp at each burp and I don't want any Boostbox this year in my car. I want more voltage to charge my batteries: 16 volts or 18 volts depend of my battery setup without Boostbox that limit the charge at 10 amp. Upgrade trick with stock alernator, dual stage regulator, simple stage regulator with voltage drop resistor for electrical vehicule system. New alternator upgrade.... I need solutions! Thanks!

I had 4 Earthquake Balls 12" subwoofers with 2 Earthquake PHD2 amplifiers not moded at 0,7 ohm in Super Street 3/4 class. My best score is 160.3 db.

This year, I compete with 4 Beyond Audio Inhumans 15" quad 1.1 aluminium coils subwoofers and 2 Earthquake PHD3 amplifiers at 0.55 ohm in Super Street 3/4 class. My voltage depend of my alternator decision.

The ECU doesn't regulate the voltage just monitors it. I have the factor clip disconnected. It never gives me a CEL just a battery light if I staret it and go into heavy stop and go traffic for a few minutes.

Also the installer of my alternator mentioned the best thing you can do is run a totaly stock alternator and another stock alternator that has been rewound by Ohio generator or somehting.

THis way you get a hell of alot more power and all the ECU connections can be maintained.
