Just a warning to anyone thinking of dealing with speakerhole.com.

I ordered a 4 gauge dual amp install kit from them, and my experience has been terrible: :fight:

First, they charged my credit card the day I ordered, but did not ship for a week after. :drool:

Second, only half of my emails were answered, and I got no confirmation of payment, order, or anything. :confused:

So two weeks after my purchase, I recieve the kit, and it contains 8 gauge power and ground wires, NOT the 4 gauge I purchased. :mad:

I send them an email, requesting immediate action about this - I want them to send me the correct wire. They reply that I must send back the entire kit, then they will send the correct one (they MAKE these kits, they are NOT pre-packaged. Everything else was correct except the power and ground cables - so sending me 20 ft of 4 gauge cable is not a big deal). In other words, wait another month before I finally get what I paid for. :firehair:

They don't even list a phone number on their website for customer service - I should've taken that as a warning. :rolleyes:

Their emails have been somwhat rude, also. When I asked (very nicely :angel: really!) about tracking information and why my item wasn't sent, the ONLY text in the reply was a link to their information page, which I had read 5 times already. They treated me like an ignorant fool. When I requested the wire be replaced, they said "this is not the way it works" - i.e. - send us the whole thing back. :mach:

Just my own experience - want anyone thinking of buying to know about it.

BTW - I bought amps and a sub from www.ikesound.com - EXCELLENT people. :bigthumb: I bought from them the same day as speakerhole - got my stuff a WEEK sooner. And they upgraded one of my amps - for free. Guess rather than put it on "backorder" they just send out the next model up the line - now THAT'S customer service. :D:

I've picked up a few things local at Ikesound. They matched prices for me a couple of times I called them. Good service. I'll call them again when I'm looking for more stuff.
