Speaker Wiring question.....

Currently, I am running four door speakers and tweeters up front in my P5 off of deck power. The tweeters have an "inline" style, capacitor "crossover" to cut the low frequencies.

I am keeping all of the components, and I am adding a two-channel amp for the front speakers, and my question is this:

I don't know whether to run both the front speakers AND tweeters from the amp, similar to the current setup, or use the amp ONLY for the door speakers and run the tweeters independently using deck power. Either setup would be easy to accomplish, but I'm wondering which would most likely give the best SQ and safety for my deck and amp. I was thinking I would run the tweeters from the deck, and the door speakers from the amp. Is this the best way?

depends on your deck power versuses your amp power. I would run both speakers(tweets and mids) through the amp for cleaner sound unless its a mono sub amp or a jensen blue thunder from k-mart. Make sure you use the cross overs if you have them rember that a 50w stereo is equal to 20ish watt amp. But this is just my opion, maybe you should try both with some crappy wire and which you like more ?
