Shitty Ghetto-riffic Install... Please help

ok, well, i decided to get rid of my subs and keep the box and hunt for a new amp and subs eventually, so i sold it to my friend... he went out and bought a RF 200S amp, a q-loqic box and an 8 gauge wiring kit. now granted it's a ford contour and he wasted his money on everything else, he wants me to wire his amplifier and sub up for him. now, if i had a first gen to work with, i'd give it the best install in the world cause i know the car like the back of my hand. we had three hours to do this, so this is my rushed install. the power is run down the drivers side through the corner of the hood and through the door jamb cause i couldn't find a fuckin hole ANYWHERE to go through the firewall with. aside from that, every other wire is concealed, the rca's are running on the opposite side of the car with the remote turn on, and everything flows back to the trunk. i installed the AMP on the back of the box and mounted the sub in the box with some polyfill the sub came with... it actually looks pretty nice and sounds damn good for his tastes. now here is the problem...
through my hastened IDIOTIC installing, we have:
1. rear right speaker won't work at all
2. positive wire is fed through the corner of the hood
3. ground wire is tied in to the spare tire cause there is absolutely NO BOLTS to ground the amp to.

i mean, i have a very good idea of what QUALITY is, and this is by far no where near that, but because of time constraints on a vehicle i don't know much about, the install is officially GHETTO!! my biggest worries are getting the positive wire through the firewall so it doesn't end up shorting out, and my biggest concern is the ground wire. on the rear folding seats, there is a Torx shaped head (mounting bolt on the rear seat with a star shaped head), is there anyway i can safely run the ground wire to that? i couldn't get the rear seat cushion up to check, but i was hoping there was something under the rear seat to help me. is there any other way to run a ground wire???? help me right my wrongs so i don't end up paying for doing somebody a favor.
peace guys

HELP MEE!!!!!!

Why only three hours for the install? Was he rushing you? The only thing I can say is see about going back and "patching" things up. You got the worse part over so maybe you can go back and see about tucking wires and such. Did you look up the Ford Contour on www.carstereohelp.com it may be car stereo install help dot com? That and www.the12volt.com should have some pics on how to get to stuff. Hopefully that will be a start. Do some research and go back over and maybe you can finish up the install so you will all be happy. Also, he got a good deal for buying it and having you put it in for free.:D
