Looking to get these bulbs, anyone have any direct experience with these bulbs?

My car is a 2003 Mazda Protege ES-GT

Yes i have had expeirience with these bulbs. I use to sell them at an auto parts store and i had them in two of my trucks. The bulbs are awesome, pretty much as close as you can get to HID without spending that much money. You won't have that sharp cut off HID's have but you will definetly notice a difference.

Do they have a long life span? Or are their instances of these bulbs burning out quickly?

I havent re edited my review of those bulbs, if you do a search you will see my orignal, but since then, my bulbs have blown twice within a year

They are really for show only, so if you got a flashy car and sick headlight housing and wanna show it off, get this bulbs, if not, its not worth shelling out 6x the cost of regulars for it,

two blow outs later I am praying they last longer then 6 months. I think though it might be because of my Audio system and the slight headlight drain on it during bassy songs. my system is killer and i think that is what is weakining it , could be the -40 'C winter in TOronto on some days

If you're looking for brightest light output and best visibility, your only choice should be Osram Silverstars. Don't get the Sylvania Silverstars as they have a blue tint and therefore cut down somewhat on light output. The Osram Silverstars are available from: www.powerbulbs.co.uk

I've bought from them several times, a very reliable company, fast shipping and no problems.
