Pre Amp Output
 

I am considering adding an amplifier to my stereo system tomorrow. Does anyone know if the 04 has pre amp outputs, or if a fm modulator is required?

04' 3 im guessing shouldnt have pre outs hardly any stock cars ever do..so an fm mod is needed for sure..unless you buy my cd player and dash kit and you will not need a crappy sounding fm mod....

I'm thinking most amps, these days, have low-level inputs meaning you can connect you it to the existing speakers (either front or back pair depending on location of your amp).

If the amp doesn't receive low-level inputs then you could install a line-output converter (which converts the speaker level signal to RCA outputs)
