paint

hey there,

so i see a brush and paint bottle in the corner of the pic

did u actually paint them?

ive always thought that everybody (just like me) used a can containing high temp paint?

Jaster Mereel March-19th-2003 06:46 AM

yeah, i used hi-temp red paint in a spray can, and i also took my calipers off before i painted them. But hey you did a nice job. :D

DarK_anGel1412 March-19th-2003 07:29 AM

i used hi temp paint in a spray can too, but i sprayed it into a cup first so that it would be easier to apply and i didnt have to mask anything. those pics look a little sloppy thats the first one i did, the last one looked 100X better

...I gotta say it.
Dude! Where's the love?
-paint on the rotors?
-paint on the rim?
-scratched up rim from throwing it down spokes first?

Good idea, not so good execution.:dunno:

not to be a dick, one rotor got paint on it, thats the first i did, so it came out bad, the others were perfect and taped off, theres no paint on the rim, and the rim isnt scratched at all it just looks like tha i just went outside and checked, so dont be a dick.

eggynatey March-19th-2003 01:56 PM

Sorry for being a dick. It looked like you scratched your rim. Also, as soon as you hit the brakes, the paint on the face of the rotor will be gone.
One question though...Why did you post pics of the one that came out shitty?
