I hope you plan on putting some mesh in those gaps. When I got my kit is was between your's and the Erebuni. In the end I didn't want to fork up the extra cash for Onderground's.

Well atleast you didn't order the horrible looking mesh they offer with the kit. That mesh is absolutely hideous. Looks like it's time for a trip to Home Depot.

I'm talking about the Onderground P5 kit (same front bumper as the sedan but different skirts and rear bumper). I doubt the rear bumper would fit...and I dislike the one for the sedan, so I'll probably get the Erebuni one or something...

Proto2k, is the mesh grille offered by Onderground the same as what's on the Kenwood P5?

BTW, the Onderground kit is made of fiberglass correct? Is it actually weak enough to crack if it scraped the ground or something?

Proto2k August-14th-2003 09:10 PM

I think it is the same mesh, but on their Protege, they painted the mesh blue and it looks like there are no holes.]

The Erebuni kit is fiberglass and it does crack pretty easily. I hit a curb one morning at work and it left a nice paint scratch and a crack. Just be careful and you shouldn't have any trouble.

why not buy onderground front and erebuni sides and rear?

Proto2k August-15th-2003 12:24 AM

The problem with that is when a kit is made, it is made to compliment the other pieces. The Erebuni kit is no exception, the sides of the front bumper compliment the skirts very well. The Onderground front bumper could also be a bit taller or shorter, thus throwing off the entire look of the kit and giving it an uneven height all the way around.

Also, IMO the Onderground front bumper is a bit ricey and I don't think I am alone in that thought. It looks good when matched with the rest of the kit, but with a different kit it could seem out of place.
