Need opinions on speakers

I have an 02 P5 that I'm looking to upgrade the stereo in. Does anybody have suggestions on what's the easiest and best sounding choice for door speakers? I've been to crutchfield.com and they say multiple sizes will fit in either door so I'm not even sure what size is in there from the factory. I'm not an audiophile but I don't want crappy sound quality. I'm looking to power them all with an amp (which I haven't chosen yet either). Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

if price is not an option then I had Eclipse door speakers(they are a little pricey) in my car and they were fantastic sounding I was very very pleased with that product....
As far as size the door speakers if I am not mistaken is 5x7...

In the doors I would recomend some 6x8's for a bit more midbass. Infinity makes a good product.

I personaly have some alpine type s 5x7 speakers. Im extremly happy with them.

EDIT: dam these fat fingers

Yeah I forgot you can either have 5x7 or 6x8's, but I have noticed before not a lot of companies sell 6x8 speakers (limited selection).....

My suggestion if you're just doing door speakers... Memphis Component sets. They have awesome mids. Especially if you power them.

I have MB Quart premium 6 1/2" components with 125 watts going to each (JL 500/5 amp) and they rock! VERY CLEAR! I highly recommend them! I had alpine type r's before and these blow them out! I have a P5 also.

Memphis if you have the money. Soundstream is lower priced and is of equal quality.

Thanks everybody for all your opinions. I'll definatly take them all into consideration but it will probably be up to the best deal I can find as to what I end up with.

I'm also thinking of adding a sub in the back and having some sort of jack mounted in the side panel so that when I need to load stuff in the trunk all I have to do is unplug the wires from the body panel and pull the sub out. Does anybody know of a single amp I could get that would run all 4 channels plus a sub? Or for the money would it be worth buying separate amps? Please excuse my ignorance, I haven't done any aftermarket stereo shopping in 10-12 years and have no idea what technology offers these days.

Its cheaper to buy seperate amps!

I have a 5 channel amp...the JL 500/5. It's pricey $800 or so retail price, but it's awesome. Before it, I had the kenwood kac-x650D and it was pretty good. 40x4 and125x1 (i think) You can get one for under $200 on ebay.

Hmm... check into the Memphis Belle. I'm not sure exactly how much it costs... but the 600 would work just fine. the 5th channel (sub) is 400 watts @ 1 ohm stable. I've been trying to get memphis to give me a price listing. But I'm having a hard time of it.
