My Jonah Lomu's Are In!!!

okay, i was getting restless and impatient as i have no bass (powerplant box being painted) so i went out and bought a temporary (custom made) box for my two 12" fusion jonah lomu's... omigod. these subs pound! i still need to tweak my system as i now have more bass than b4, but damn!

okay, all i need now (besides the sub floor) is the fusion class d powerplant amp and hopefully i'll be satisfied...

oh yeah, did i mention that these subs pound? :D

mmmmmm, sounds tasty....

you're gonna have to give us some eye candy dude!
wish i was in hawaii, then i could come harrass you and enjoy your system

i'm gonna build another box this week. i was just so impatient yesterday, i needed something NOW. so i paid a guy to build me a temporary box. when i get everything done, i'll take some pics!

sometimes i wish i was there on the "mainland". then i could drive around to all the other 48 states who seem to forget we're number 50. i miss driving from state to state (lived in south carolina for 8yrs)...

i want the powerplant class d amp, the one that pushes 850 rms @ 2ohms (12volt). i want the jonah amp, but the cheapest i can get that is $600, and then i'd HAVE to get the 4ch jonah, forcing me to remove the current powerplant amps under my seat (cuz jonah amps NEED to be seen). my system was put in this feb, so i really don't need to spend more $$$... for now anyways. :)

the powerplant class d should keep me satisfied for now. (i hope) :p

Ever have your setup metered onehawaiian? Your shit sounds nice.

onehawaiian July-31st-2002 12:57 AM

thanks sweeden, i'm gonna meter it when i get my new amp. don't wanna take the chance of underscoring due to the lack of juice. gotta have the power! :)

blue, i was thinking about running the ma amps, but i need to stick with fusion cause there are NO fusion sellers in hawaii, and i am one of the few, if not the only one with fusion (they should sponsor me). wanna show all these ppl here there is more to car audio than jl and kicker.

Not to be an asshole or anything blue LEDz but that amp can be had for under $600. Hell I've seen it as low as $450.

One question, how good are the MA amps. They seem really cheap for the amount of power they put out. Maybe its time to switch brands.

blue LEDz any pics of your install??

but is that a trustworthy site? do they send stuff fast? never heard of that place. dealing online is scary when you're dropping hundreds of dollars on stuff.
