MP3 PLayer

Hi

I'm looking for a Headunit for my Mazda that play mp3 from a Harddrive on my trunk.

So Far I have find these two and they don't seem all that good.

Neo

Sony Xplod MEX-1HD

As a alternative if I can't find a good mp3 player with a harddrive I'm thinking to go with a headunit with a MP3 CD changer. this is the kind of Headunit I'm thinking to go for but this one doesn't have CD Changer support features.

Can some one help me out to find a good mp3 player with a Harddrive or a good mp3 player with CD changer support features?

thanks

Alex

Thanks Blue Led

I was thinking into buy this headunit mp3 player from Alpine
http://www.infinitecaraudio.com/cgi-...alogno=CDA7894
But in reallity I totally agree with you and I think that the NEo has way more convenience than a headunit that play one CD at a time or even if it has attach a CD changer.

My only worries is that if I buy the Neo I won't get the same quality music as I will get with the CDA-7894.

Do you think I would get the same quality music out of the Neo or any other headunit?

Sorry but what is a HU?

The alpine will no doubt sound better playing the MP3 itself but it shouldn't be a huge difference, the best thing you can do for audio quality is use a 192 or higher rate on the MP3s not the standard 128.

Kenwood makes the "Music Keg" hard disk MP3 storage. It also can be controlled via most Kenwood decks with CD changer controls: http://www.kenwoodusa.com/product/pr...productId=2474

They make both a regular and an "excelon" version.

Kenwood also makes a 10 disc MP3 CD changer.

Worked just like a kenwood hu does for MP3s. YOu just get it onto the Keg as a source and then it works like the MP3 was on a disk in the head unit, if memory serves.
