mp3 bumper on, waiting for fogs
Just got it back from my body shop.
They did an awesome job on the car. I'm missing the foglights which are on order: http://members.shaw.ca/jack_nguyen/Protege1.jpg Front view: http://members.shaw.ca/jack_nguyen/Protege2.jpg CF Tail Lightshttp://members.shaw.ca/jack_nguyen/Protege3.jpg Interior: http://members.shaw.ca/jack_nguyen/Protege4.jpg |
Looks nice......hey where did you get it painted at? and how much did they charge?
|
insurance paid for the painting, I got it painted at wall's rod and custom, about 10 minutes east of the perimeter.
he uses ppg paints, usually more expensive than most body shops for painting, but it's an awesome job. |
how much did you pay for the side skirts?
|
i bought them from mazdastuff and had them delievered to fargo so I didn't have to pay duty on them...i think the side skirts were 160$ u.s and i think the bumper skirt was around 220$ u.s?

i can't tell you the exact prices because i don't know most of them, i do know it was quite costly though, i claimed alot of it through my insurance
|
I know that u said you didnt know too much about how it was done but did you also have to buy the extra parts like a new autoexe grill and also a rebar? I read that inorder to do the bumper conversion you need to buy those parts also along with the lights.
|
not the autoexe grill, the p5 or mp3 top grill
yes, you need a new rebar, the mp3 or p5 rebar, although you can cut into the old rebar, it's not recommended do a search on mp3 conversion and you shall find what you need, isn't there a sticky? |
