mazda mp3 system fit in a p5
 

Hey guys will a mazda mp3 system (deck,and speakers) fit into the p5 without any mods? Will the speakers be drop ins? Thanks!

the speakers that fit in the rear of the MP3 will not fit in the rear doors of your protege 5 without modification, and probably still won't fit if you do mdoify it. everything else will work.

You know for sure that the MP3 rears won't fit? Are the front the same size and what are the deminsions of the speakers?

I explained it there as well. I should be the last post. Sorry to dissapoint you....you can get a set of decent rear speakers for $100 though...do you have AIM? if so, update your profile...

Speakers are cheap if you can get a system out of an mp3 for a good price. get it. I installed an extra pair of 6*9's in the rear deck of my P5 to improve the all around sound. The refraction off the rear window sounds great.:blue:
