Mark on Side Molding
I have this small white mark on my passenger side molding. It's like a white from a cart or something. How do I take this off or cover it? Do I just use touch up paint even though it's not a scrape or anything?

Get some rubbing compound and take it off. If it's just a scuff, don't touch it up. Hell, if you wash you car often, eventually, it'll come off by rubbing the area.

Sorry, foxymazda, if it seems like I'm "fighting" with you lately - not intentional, but:
BL - DO NOT use "Back to Black" on your paint! This product is intended for unpainted black plastic trim. It is not a cleaner, it is a dye! We already used some on my Lady's Jeep Cherokee moldings - looks good, but this IS NOT for your paint. It will stain the area black, and you'll probably notice that more than the the little scuff. Just use some rubbing compound and som "elbow grease". It'll come off with a little work - it's just a scuff. Looks like some ass with a white car opened their door too far and gave you a love tap. Just be glad you have the moldings, or else it'd be a ding that costs about $75 to have fixed. Again - no animosity foxymazda, but the "Back to Black" stuff is BAD advice. ~HH |
so what exactly are some rubbing compounds? i'm not sure lol. i've used goo gone that stuff didnt work at all, perfect on my decals and all the sticky ish though
