Legal in Canada?

Does anyone know if the neon underbody lights are legal in Canada?...If they are legal does anyone know how much they are, and where you can get them in Calgary?

I know that they're legal in Ontario. I don't know about Alberta, check with your local ministry of transport. Although I do have to ask why? Spend your money on performance mods!

I haven't checked yet.. but is this a double post? Cuz there is a Calgary forum down yonder in the regional forums (western Canada)

And if yer new... Welcome :)

In answer to your question: I don't know. I was thinking of looking into it myself.

It's not legal to have them on while your engine is running.

What are they going to do? Chase after you on their horses? Just drive away!!

I lived in Calgary for a few years until recently. From what I remember you cannot drive your car while the lights are on. You can park it and use them for show but that's it.

I'll concur with the previous poster to spend the money on something that will make the car more enjoyable for you as the driver.

Im getting a full underbody neon kit next week. As for the laws here in calgary, Funky buddha is right, you can have them on your car, you just cant have them on while the engine is running otherwise you will get a ticket for distracting other drivers or some crap like that.
