so far my sound system is stock, everything stock, so i thought i might start with sound

so what do you guys think of starting with this HU, neone had experiences with it, and if not, can someone suggest another one that looks good, and is around the same, or less price range, also what cost effective speakers and amps do you guys think i should get.
thinking of subs first, then the rear speakers, then the front door speakers, so tell me in that order if possible, and with which amps to get with the speakers

I'm fairly new at this, so please bare with me

thanks in advance for all opinions

You might want to consider a deck that plays mp3s if you're into that sort of thing.

If you're looking to save $$$ and want a simple system, Alpine makes a 5 channel amp (40w/ch front and back, with 120 into 4 ohms for a sub) for about 250 at Crutchfield.com (you can probably get it cheaper somewhere else). It got a pretty good review.

If youre looking to do some upgrading in the future, a 5 channel amp probably isn't the way to go though. You might want a 4 channel amp for the front and rear and a separate amp for the sub. Or even a separate amp for front, rear, and sub (lots of bank though).

Here is the model # on the Alpine: Alpine MRP-F320.
