Its a painfull deep scratch
 

The other day I was pickin up some movies at the vid store.
This bad bad man in a big old truck squished my little car!!!

My rear driver tail light is busted, which im replacin with euro lights. But I now have a scratch in my bumper which is fairly large. I was looking at Zaino Z5 and I am unsure If it will take it out even after say 5 applications, Should I just have it professionaly removed? Or should I attempt the Zaino first?

Any sugestions?
I should attempt to get a picture of it so you can see the damage but its like -35 here and I aint going out for a picture :D

Well if it's as deep as you say it is, I don't think any wax can take it out.

Make the "Bad Man" pay for the damages. Currently if you professionally fix a scratch, it will cost you around 300 to 400 bones...This is how much it is costing the fool that scratched my sister's car.

that sucks man, just come down and visit me i'll get it done for you for 200;) does the scratch actually go past the clear coat, because if it doesn't then you can get it buffed out and you'll never be able to tell it was there, of course your bumper will be alot more "glossy" then the rest of your car. But if it's past the clear coat around 400 seems right. Usually going to a smaller body shop will bring the price down quite a bit, unless it's an insurance job then you might as well make the insurance pay for the expensive job. Also the good thing about the smaller shops is that if they use PPG or any other "quality" paint the paint job is automatically backed by a lifetime warranty by the paint company. hope that helps:D

P.S. If it isn't past the clear coat i can kind of guide you through taking the scratch ou, but i warn you that it's very difficult to get it to come out looking good, because you have to sand down the scratch with sand paper and you're kinda screwed if you "burn through" the clear coat.
