Ipod / phone no sound
 

Hi All

not sure if there has been a thread made about this but i need some help
i have a 64 plate Mazda 3 sel which i bought last july
upuntil today everything has been working fine but driving today my ipod, which was connected by cable, stopped its sound. it still went through as if playing but no sounds was coming out of the speakers
i also tryed my phone through bluetooth but it also had no sound
the FM radio however working fine
can anyone give any hints as to how to fix this issue?
i am going to check on my lunch if the car being off for a few hours has rectified this but just looking for help incase its not
