Infinity Basslink X 10" Sub

I just got it and I was wondering if anyone else has one. The reason I went with it is that I already have two amps one under each seat and did not want to mount another in the trunk. I also liked the fact that it won't take up my whole trunk. The best thing is that I get to feed some more power to my Infinity 6.5"s. It is going to be a week or so before I get the chance to install it. I am waiting on the amp wiring kit that I bought off of ebay. I went to Circuit City to see how much they wanted for their 8 guage wire, call me cheep, but I am not going to pay $1.49 a foot. I got a 752 tinned strand 8 guage for $.45 on ebay.
The amp that comes with it is a class D and runs at 200 w RMS so I am sure that it will thump. I don't need something that overpowers the rest of the system or that I need ear plugs to listen to.

I have one and am pleased with it. I bought the car for my wife and it is our vacation ride. The only drawback I had was the stock system. It sucked. I left the OEM head unit and placed some Infinity Kappa series in the front doors combined with the Basslink in the back. It turned out better than I thought. It's got far more power than the radio can keep up with. I have the gain on the Basslink and bass on the head unit almost all the way down just to be balanced. Takes up very little space too. I left extra wire and tied it all up in a loom when I installed it. It gives me enough slack to move it around in the back if I'm carrying something large. Fits good on the right rear side of the trunk. And before you bassheads jump in and say it sucks, it's all about what I was looking for in a system versus what you were looking for. I had to have minimal cost, compact size and full use of original space if necessary. I'll throw up a picture later.

Where did you tap the high level speaker wires for the basslink?

The basslink came with a harness long enough to reach the head unit from the hatch area. I tapped into the speaker leads a few inches down from the head unit connector. Was a lot easier than going into the doors or kick panels to access them. I ran the ground to the seatbelt anchor under the rear seat and the power of course straight to the battery. My car is an auto so there is a plastic cover where the clutch master cylinder would go that you can run the wire through. It was a VERY easy hookup. Took about 45 minutes start to finish.

-edit- Added pictures. It doesn't take up a lot of room. I left enough wire in the harness to move around to make room when needed.

Do you have the gain link remote and where did you mount it?

Can you tell me which wires in the harness are the front left +/- and front right +/-?

Thanks!
