how do you.... (#2)

actually, not really "how do you....", but... i'm getting a carbon fiber altezza next week, and there's manual book on how to replace tailight, blah, blah... but will there be wires involved i should be concerned about?

no the tail lights just plug into the altezzas just like the stock lights.

It is a fairly easy job, I did mine today.
However, the ones that I got did not have the right lock mounts on the right hand side, i had to cut the little nipples off of my lock nut, I then hot glued it on with 2 little dabs, and ONLY LITTLE DABS!

If your going to replace the lights now is a good time to do it at the same time. They do look hot.

I also found that the gap on the side of the car is a little bit larger.

Here are the steps.

1. On the inside trunk find the 2 inch little caps, you will see 3 little gold bolts inside, remove these.
2. Grab the light and yank it off, carfull not to pull the wires to hard.
3. unlock your lights.
4. get your new light, (I placed a blanket on the bumber so that I did not scratch or crush anything) The brown lock nut on the top, the signal in the center and the backup light at the bottom.
5. Place the light back in, on the top right (for the right one) and top left (for the left one) there is a little self locking nut, make sure this is in the hole with the little white holder, push the light on.
6. Put the bolts back on, 1 half turn more than hand tight should be fine, you can do a bit more if you want but not to much it will snap. (and it sucks when you snap the light)
7. Replace the covers on the trunk side.
8. Repeat for the other side.

It should not take you more than an hour or so.
