how to clean gasoline mess?
 

so a friend of mine ran out of gas while pulling out of her parking spot leaving work. i got the car started for a split second, enough to pull it back into the spot. i didnt want to risk the car dying on the side of the road if i were to drive it to the nearest gas station. so we headed over to buy some gas in a container and i put the thing in my trunk. on the way back it tips over and spills on the trunk carpet. we put what was left in the container into her car and she's fine now. but i went home and i took the carpet out and left it in the garage.

is there anything i can do to clean the trunk carpet? anything to clean the trunk? also...my car has been smellin like gasoline since tuesday. how do i get rid of that stench? it was really bad that same nite after my stupid butt got lost walking all over another town, i smelled like sweat and gasoline by the time i got home and i think i can still smell it on my fingers.

it will eventually evaporate, so dont worry, just leave it well ventilated at night
