Hole in my bumper

Yesterday one of my stupid friends thought it would be cool to love tap me in my new car. Some people just don't think before they act. Well he put two 1/4 inch holes in my bumper because his license plate frame had two exposed screws on it. They are nice clean holes and I put touchup paint on them so they aren't as noticable. What would be the best/easy/cheap way to get it fixed. There is no way in hell im paing 600 bucks for a new bumper and paint for 2 small holes. Any ideas.

Dustin

Get you friend to pay for it to be fixed at a shop. He caused the damage, he should be responsible to repair it, properly. If he doesn't, I'd get revenge or find some way to make his life hell. :headshot: :spank: :stickpoke :firehair: :ak47:

And if your "buddy" won't cough up the bucks to fix it, get it from his insurance company. He hit you, he should pay, end of story.

Our bumpers can be fixed an re-painted for around $300-$400. You don't need a new bumper. I've got a few nicks in mine that'll be getting fixed soon (damn parking garage that did it finally cut me a check for the damage - 6 months later).

3-4 US? OUCH. Damn lot to paint a bumper. Are you talking Mazda or alternate bodyshop? Alternate bodyshops should be cheaper then that. And they shouldn't need to repaint the whole bumper. If they are any good at blending at all.

Oh, and congrats on getting your money.

Actually it does cost a hell of a lot to paint the bumpers than it does the doors. Its because the bumpers are sorta plastic and they (paint shop) can't use chemicals they would on the doors. Instead they have to strip by hand with a sander. Pain in the ass. Um how about getting a bumper sticker that says "My Dumbass friend rear-ended me and all I got was this stupid bumper sticker"

lol. I would get his insurance information if he doesn't want to pay you outright. He was being a dumbass anyways. Tell him to pay you!!!

yeah, I agree with everyone here, get your buddy to cough up the cash to fix it.

But it shouldn't cost you more then 200$ to fix it. I had to fix this deep scratch on the of mine, and the guy just sanded it down, and blended a mix, and boom, it's same as before, for 120$ CDN, but that's cause he gave me a bit of a deal.

And get your friend to pay for it. Go by his place, take the bus, and bring your keys/knife. Tell him you'll put a nice design on his paint job if he doesn't pay up.

That's right, SCRATCH :dj: his car!
