Help A Newb

I have my mom's 97 DX which I'm probably gonna have for only a couple years but the stock set up is quite bad. I bought a new HU with like 23 watts rms and thats it. I dont wanna spend much money at all. In the flyer I saw a deal at best buy like $200 for a box, two 10's and an amp. My boy works there and can get me a nice deal. Will I lose lots of trunk space and is that worth it in your opinion? it's normally $329 seperately. I'm getting it for much lower than $200.

hey man, when it comes to car audio, don't sell yourself short, b/c if you buy something weak, like those Lightning Audio stuff you are talking about, you are gonna wanna upgrade after a little bit. You might say no now but trust me, it is very addicting. Spend the cash and get some better brand stuff, you won't regret it. But if all you are looking for is a little punch the go for it. But take my word, you will end up upgrading once you hear the least bit of difference.

Thanks a lot for the replies, my friend's discount varies on each brand so I'll ask him to check a couple things out for me. By any chance could you reccomend any brands I should look into carried at Best Buy or what brands I should stay away from?
