Help me choose my FC rim finish

Ok, so I'm doing a huge build on the FC and I've decided to keep the stock rims but they need to be cleaned up and color changed somehow. The car will be laser blue with black side moldings to match my 03 p5. I have a few choices...for those that don't know what the rims look like they are not the coolest...they are 14 x 5.5" bullet hole rims...some people call them "phone dials". Here's my choices...

1. Powdercoat (what color?) appx. $40-75

2. Bronze wheel paint (like cheap dupli-color spray can) appx. $30

3. Nickle plated (looks like chrome but is badass) appx. $300-500

I think the nickle plating would look the coolest but requires me to buy a lot of stuff and have a lot of prep work. After it's prepped it's just a matter of dipping and drying. The cost will put my rim work (including new tires) up in the $750-800 range. For this money I could just buy new rims and tires but I think the look of stock rims with r-compound tires would be better than "wheelguyz" rims with hankook tires.

Thoughts?

dont waste the money, just save up a couple hundred bucks and find some used 15x8's

You know I'm fond of bronze on blue...

Miller, I was thinking if I spent the money on the nickle kit I could also do other stuff on the side to help pay it off....also, it's pretty unique to be able to say "the car rolls on 14" nickle-plated oem rims with r-compound tires"

I'm thinking Powdercoat. Looks good, holds up nicely. And who doesnt enjoy gold/bronze on a blue like ours!

Ehhh...maybe not that fond!! :cookoo:

'Round these here parts there is [I'm not even kidding] a Mustard-metallic Civic Si (new egg style) w/sparkly red window tint.

:barf:

yikes....well I'm not going crazy with the bronze tint...the 10th Anniversary Edition FC's came from the factory with bronze tint. that's what I'm going back with.

White for the win!
Wait...I should probably ask what the wheels look like first..
Are they the meshes? If so, go with the bronze.
