Unless you are going for a different look, the stock ones are really quite good. If you like the stock look, and want something a little better/snobbier, you can get the e-code lights from the European P5 (European beam pattern, there was a thread started by theMAN a while back on this topic).

For the fog lights, well, they are fog lights and not driving lights, so if you want driving lights (too see into the distance), a good quality replacement lamp (whole assembly) would probably be your best bet.

Others on here have done various things to their lights, some of which is not necessarily good in terms of actual performance.

BTW - welcome to the club, most of the people here are helpful, and a few are not. Please try to ignore the ones that are not, and enjoy your time around here. I am sure Sir Nuke will be around fairly shortly to welcome you properly.

A good general link on all things lighting:

Daniel Stern is well recognized on the topic. Also, theMAN is a very knowledgable resource, even though he might come across a bit short at times :D

You can read about the e-code lights here:

As for changing bulbs only, there won't be too much you can do to really increase the usefulness of the lights as they are - they are very good. I would use the search function to find other opinions on piaa bulbs and the like.
