Harness?

Some lady totalled my Sentra so I went out and brought a Protege. I pulled out my JVC SX980 from the Sentra and was hoping to install it into the Protege. Went to Best Buy to get it installed today and the guy tells me that the harness isn't out yet, so he can't install it. Is that true? If it is, it sucks that it has to sit in the corner and collect dust. Also, if there harness is out, where can I get it? Thanks!

There's a harness out, that dumbass at best buy doesn't know what he's talking about. Scosche makes one I think, do a search, I'm shure youll find the right post.

Thanks for the info JAC. Another question however, which is better Metra, Scosche, or Best? Also, the guy at Best Buy said I needed some part to make sure I don't blow out my speakers which costs about 20 bucks. Do I need that?

Thanks!

Oh, by the way Best Buy sucks. The guy strached the face of my stock headunit pretty badly, so I get my headunit installed for free.

that dumbass at best buy doesn't know what he's talking about
...and that's why he works there. They're all morons.

Yeah, don't take your car to those morons, try installing it yourself instead. I'ts not that hard, youll do a better job and youll feel proud afterwards.

If you don't feel like it, then take it to a reputable car audio shop.
