Gauge Cluster
Quick question, will a '99 pro gauge cluster fit into a 2001?
Bump? :(
no....the harness is different.
Gracias :)
sir nuke - how sure are you?
reason I ask is because I think it does, though I'm not 100% |
Hmm. :-\
You sure it is different? I thought all 3rd gen Pro's gauge clusters share the same 3 plug harnesses.

This is what I am basing my answer on......another member went so far as to remove his guage cluster and was going to try it....I can't remember exactly who it was though. |
I thought it was the DX ( no tach) cluster that wouldn't fit. But the cluster with the three conectors are interchangeable from 99-03, even if it's a P5 or MP3. I think :(

The worst part is, is that time is ticking on me purchasing the 99 cluster w/ a tach, and (attempting) to install it. :(

I see Puto has a DX. Your right Sir Nuke
couldnt you just buy the Harness from Mazda, then find out where to wire the sender to the tranny to get the tach reading?
