FM Modulator....
 

Howdy ho folks

I just got a new deck in my car, I had it "Professionally" installed.

well for one thing I did not get the tools to pul the deck out, and they bypassed my FM modulator so I cannot get sound out of my DVD player

I know how the FM modulator works, but when I plug it in right i can only get the DVD player and not the radio, and when it dosent go through the FM modulator i cannot even get radio anyway

any suggestions?

2 things:

1. the antenna may have been switched and no longer goes through the FM mod

2. The FM mod may need a switch to turn ON/OFF, as when it's on, you will have either no stations or alot of static.

The new deck you have, does it have an AUX input? If not that would have been a key feature to have, as the DVD player could have gone direct (without the SQ loss through an FM mod)
