Finally New subs are In
 

New subs ready to install. Finally my new subs have arrived, my car goes in next week for fiberglassing...

I have 2 of these and each has its own jl500.1 amp. I put one sub in the car in a quick box for testing and they are unreal. Weigh 35 pounds each though, so I am going to have to add some engine mods soon.

those are sick subs. How come you're only giving them 500W each? You won't be too impressed with that kind of power running to them unless you got a hatch or something.

I have a hatch, mp5. And 500w each is plenty, trust me. This is my SQ car. I have a crx where the subs are getting almost 12kW each.

But yeah, wicked subs.

sweeet subs! gonna do sub floors? i won't do mine for another 3 months or so (no $$$ right now). just bought a dvd player and screen...:rolleyes:

Not sure what you mean by sub floors, but I am having the subs in teardrop enclosures right behind the seats, and the jl amps are going to be in the floor, alot of the enclosure is either color matched to the outside of the car, or vinyl wrapped.

Looks nice, but why dont you make the pics a little smaller next time :) . Im on a cable connection, and running 1024x768, but think about the people on dialup and 800x600 :P

sub floor: using the tire-well/trunk floor as your box (fiberglassed). gonna do mine later. when i get new subs and focal spkrs. hmmm, dunno where i'm gonna relocate the dvd player...
i like the w7's tho. where'd u get them and how much?
