Fender Follies....Please help me

well, i had a dented fender and bumper for the longest time and i went to the junkyard on monday and pieced off a bumper and a fender off of a protege SE, and just my luck, was white so just needs touch up, won't be much of a hassle to paint. i have to retouch the bumper before it goes in and i also have to get headlight supports and a new drivers side headlight before the bumper goes on as well. but here is my problem, when at the junkyard, i inadvertantly ran over my fender like a dumb ass, not bad enough to be much of a problem, so i still took it home, put it on my car after bending it back into shape. it has 1 minor dent from the previous car and thats about it, with the exception of 1 inch of clearance above the headlight until i get the parts to replace the supports for the headlight. my problems now are as follows and i need help on these:
1) when i replaced the fender, i put my clear corner back in and the bulb was blown out, i keep changing bulbs and it seems to blow either stage of the philament in the bulb, so it will either just blink and i have no parking illumination, or the thing don't work at all... i've gone through 5 bulbs and i still have a problem, any suggestions what i could have done?

2) i sheared the head off of one of the bolts that ties in right on the bottom by the drivers side door so there is the remaining portion of the bolt left in the frame of the car... how the hell can i get this out and reattach the fender on the bottom properly?

3) i'm going to clean up the fender for now with some rubbing compound and fiinish restorer to bring back some shine, my quesion is what do i need to do to the fender eventually if i want to primer the fender and other portions of my car to prep for a maaco paint job? i don't give a shit about the rep they have, i just want something to cover up the fender and a little on the drivers door and maybe the hood, not sure yet.

4) also, what can i do in the mean time to remove my model markings on the drivers side fender, cause as far as i know, i'm the only "1994 Protege SE-LX" around lol... how do you remove those lables?

thanks for reading and any input is appreciated, thanks guys.
peace
kevin

Light bulb: See if you pinched a wire somewhere. You might have gone thru the insulation and caused a short.

Broken screw: an "easy-out", a drill bit, and lots of Liquid Wrench.

Priming/painting: Don't know. Never got too into bodywork.

Emblems: There was a thread a while back about taking these off. Tip: Hair-dryers work wonders.

for your fender:

if you have access to an electric sander just sand it with like 80 grit and prime it then block sand it with i belive 120 grit sand paper and it should be staight.
