escort bumper

would an escort (front or rear) bumper work on a 1st gen pro? Just a thought.....

mazdaspeedwest Jul 3, 2003 04:14 AM

the rear will not fit, but the front will (but you _might_ need the fenders as well for a perfect fit. As with the grille)

Turpro Jul 3, 2003 11:56 AM

will the fenders match up with the doors?

Liquid_Ag Jul 30, 2003 05:52 PM

no, i already looked into this because of my hood issue...they would look awful on our cars

kool let me know cuz i been thinkin about that whole reverse hood kit:D

you should just get a 91-96 mercury tracer (escort clone) bumper , because the tracer is shaped a little more like our cars in that they don't have the lump in the middle to meet the grill and they don't have a cut out for the plates in the back i know cuz thats the car i had before and awhile after i got the pro and i compared sum junk like that on them :D
peace dante
