Electro-Illuminescent Face Gauge
 

I was doing some searching on the internet, and I came across this site Asylumms.com.

It shows that they carry these "Electro-Illuminescent Face Gauge" as they call it. They have them for Protege 99+ & also for the 2001/MP3/P5 etc etc.

Personally I don't think these are THAT kewl, I'd rather just get the white gauges from the 2001+.

(too bad they can't spell PROTEGE correctly...)

I went to these guys back when I had my CRX. They are alright. I don't know if they've changed in the past couple of years, but the service they gave me was so-so.

Part of the problem was a lack of communication, but that's about it.

I'm surpirsed they have stuff for the Protege, another member on here said they weren't going to carry anything. Go figure.

The amber color of the Pro gauges is from the bulbs inside the gauge cluster - the numbers/letters are not tinted. I'm in the process of getting the part #s for the bulbs, as well as the ones in the HVAC controls, and I think I've got a place to get new bulbs, either blue, or clear with blue sleeves (I think the Pro gauges might be amber sleeves over clear bulbs - I can't remember, but I'll have my gauges apart again soon to find out).

I'm way ahead of you on this one, bro - I want the blue also, but I'm not into the indiglo look - too bright for my taste.
