Ebrake light stuck on
 
as the title says.. my Ebrake light is on ALL the time..
ive tryed takin the ground screw out to see if it stops but it dosent.. i even disconneted the wire up farther along the wire but no luck.. any ideas?

Mmmmm...very interesting. I would see if your brake fluid is low. Or maybe you need new pads. My P5 did that for a while and I took it to the dealer and they said I needed new pads. Hope that helps.

very similar problem.
 
dude, my 94 pro has the ebrake light stuck on whenever i accelerate from a dead stop really quickly. If i turn the car off, then on again, the light goes off...the light will stay off, then i accelerate fast, and boom, the light comes on and stays on till i cut the car off again. I took apart the center console, and the metal is definetly not touching causing the light to come on when the ebrake is off. I dunno, i guess i might have to get used to it.

no, your brake fluid is low, and is splashing around, causing the the sensor to go on and off. check the resevoir up front
