Dumb question about headlight bulbs

I really like the flourescent bulbs in the higher scale cars like BMW, Infinity, Lexus, etc. What kind of bulbs would fit and would you recommend a 2001 ES (perhaps both head lights and fog lights)?

Thanks dudes and dudettes!

What you are referring to are HID ( High Intensity Discharge). You would not only need bulbs but a whole new ballast.

you can get a lot of info there... quick recommendation though... DON'T go with aftermarket bulbs that say they match the effect.. they are not as great (PIAA, HKS, etc.)

Get the REAL HID... but be prepared to spend the $$$.

though they wont match the intensity or pure white appearance of HID, i've found that Sylvania (Osram) Silverstars are great replacement bulbs. they are much brighter, much more efficient (vs. 80/100 watt bulbs which could be illegal or damaging), and don't produce an annoyingly blue tint that some other bulbs may.

Thanks for all the input guys. I probably won't go with a HID because it is expensive. But now I have some ideas:D
