geez what help are you guys!!!....no there arent pre-outs...but there are 2 solutions to your prob....one,get an amp with high level inputs and wire the speaker wires to it...two get some line converters to get a pre-out signal....I did it and it works great....it just wires straight from your speaker wires and they are also adjustable so you can tune the input according to your amps specs...does that help

goto a local audio shop. they will splice a set of 2v preamp outs on ur headunit.

i personally like the new stock headunit. so id jus go get some rca outs put on my radio.
might be $20 at most.

If this will help you any here is a picture of the backend of the stock H.U. Let us know how the preout thing goes if you decide to go down that road.

just a tip for removal, use something kinda the size of a coat hanger, but stronger with a hook. It helps. Put tape on the side plastic to keep from scratching the hell out of you center trim

pr5owner September-17th-2002 11:57 PM

yes MASK your TRIM!!!!!!! all around before you even THINK about doing anything. the trim is $400 dollars canadian!!!!! i had to replace mine ....
