Does anybody know how to install aftermarket gauges??????

I broke my old gauge cluster needles last time I tried to install indiglo gauges. Well, now I have a new cluster and I see that they have new reverse indiglos out that I would much rather have. But my question is, how on earth you get those over the huuuge Protege needles? There must be a way since they actually make the gauges! A friend of mine put his indiglos on his eclipse with no problem because the needles regular size, but our (Protege) needles are huge! They have a regualt needle shape to them but the round base is twice the size of the hole on the gauges that you have to put them through, plus they have a stem on the opposite side of the needle!
HELP ME PLEASE!!! Thanks a Bunch!

well

no no that's not it. i guess you probably could make the holes a little bigger yourself but what they are saying is that the new ones that they sell have bigger holes, probably because of complaints that the original ones they made did not fit on.
