Man those look sweet. How much did that cost and where did you get it done at?

DaveB November-9th-2002 06:24 PM

To tell you the true. I made them myself, so the cost is zippo. Just my time to design & program the machines + a couple pieces of alum. I had laying around. After it was all said and done, it only took about 15 minutes each to machine.

Must be the angle of the picture. They are the same thickness as the original pedals. Approximately 3/8" thick. I was thinking of making the next set at 1/4" thick. They are roughly one inch bigger in overall dimensions than the originals, but don't look to big in person. Just right in my opinion!

those are cold peddels man you ever think about selling them to people.... would like to buy them.... :)

Just one question: How the hell can you drive with that in the rain?? You need some rubber inserts. But they look very nice. Good job!

markmurray77 November-10th-2002 12:47 AM

If you can make some to sell, Ill take a set yesterday. Those look really sweet

November-10th-2002 07:36 AM

Hey Dave,

If you make me a set of those, I'll make it worth your while. ;)

They look fantastic!! Let me know if you can help a brother out...

Thanks,
Jim

They do seem a little thick, but other than that, they look great, I like the logo...

speaking of which...do you have the font you used for that?

Dave already said its the same size as the original ones... Just that no one really takes a good look at their stock pedals...

Can you make some for MTX cars as well? If so, Count me in!

do you mean the brake pedal as in width?
the brake pedal in automatics is wider, thank god,
b/c there is no clutch.

YellowMP5 November-12th-2002 03:13 PM

i know thick does not equal length, i was just asking
because you didn't specify what you meant after
people started asking. and how does that make it a
problem?
