it seems this is the current trend: grill mods.

i got in on the action today and made a custom mesh insert for my 95 dx. it looks very nice. definitely reccomend the mod, its so easy.

material costs: $1.25

so, so phat.

unfortunately, i have a scanner but no digital camera. so if i want to show you guys pics, i have to take pics and then pay to have them developed.

you say that like its a bad thing......

get the camera out and show off your ride!!! or find someone you know that has a digital camera.....

its sorta silly posting that you did a mod that looks so good and not being able to show us your work.....

Custom Grill

What kind of grill is that, i looked at a home depot and all they had was square wire mesh...

squintz August-27th-2002 01:09 PM

its actually rain gutter grate. look in the building supplies area, around where the gutter stuff is. one piece will fit your top grill, and then maybe 2 more will finish off your bottom.

Hey squintz, thanks for the info on the grate. I bought some aluminum screen from Home Depot but I am not too crazy about that. I will see if they have that grate at my outlet.

blackp5sdp August-27th-2002 06:10 PM

found it

thanks , now how do i get the bottom grill out?

squintz August-27th-2002 06:43 PM

unfortunately, and some one correct me if im wrong, but no matter what gen you have, you'll need to take off the bumper. but its not as difficult as you think. i believe there is a thread about just how to do it. search.
