Current sensing relay

I have an amp with my stock HU and I picked up a PAC universal trigger output module. It can be hooked up to sense the current in a speaker wire which triggers the amp on after 1 second. However, it says that the 12 volt output wire coming from the trigger module has a max current of 2 amps. Is this enough? It says if you need more than 2 amps to add a relay than can supply more current.

2nd question. Can I just hook it up to the switched/ignition from the stock HU without having to add a fuse? Or should I just get power from somewhere else like the cig. lighter and fuse that?

Thanks for all you help. Once I install this and add a couple wires to the scosche harnesses I used to hook the amp up my system should finally be 100% done.

Let me rewrite that 2nd question.

There are 4 wires coming out of the module:
Black - ground
Red - 12V constant/switched
Green - .8-16V input trigger (connects to + speaker wire)
Blue - 12V output (connects to the amps remote turn on)

I was asking about the red and black wires. Should I hook them up the the HUs ignition/switched and ground wires or wire them to something else?

Thanks for the help blue LEDz, I got it all hooked up and it works great.

They are working great. I though about adding a sub but the speakers put out a lot more bass than I expected. But since this was my first time doing anything with audio I didn't really know what to expect.

Now all I have to do is get the amp and HU settings where I want them. I keep changing them constantly. Sometimes it sounds better, sometimes worse.
