Cracking paint

I was washing my car yesterday and I found a crack in the paint near the back on the roof.
The crack its only about 2in big now, will this thing spead if left alone? What can I do with it, touch up paint?

use rust converter then touch it up with paint using a small brush..after drying, wax it.

Er...what's a rust converter?

Thanks

its a chemical that converts rust to a sort of a primer.. i use "rust avenger"..its shaped like a pentel pen, color black with a red cover..

Right, but wouldn't you have to sand the porous lifted metal where the rust used to be anyway?

caloyski5 July-5th-2003 08:09 PM

ummm. did it say in the directions?? :dunno: i didnt read it thoroughly!!! got to excited..

anyway, i think its better to sand it first.. :)
