Cracked foglight lens

Hello fellow P5'ers ,I just got a star-shaped crack in one of my foglight lenses and was just wondering if anyone out there had to replace a lens, and if so,how expensive or not it was to replace ,I just wan't to be prepared for sticker shock before I call the dealer to order one .
Thx

Be prepared - I think they are $150 - $200 EACH!

I could be wrong though - I have a cracked one also, but haven't changed it yet.

Find out the price, then check your options. It might be cheaper to just replace BOTH with an aftermarket light, like PIAA or something. Plus they'd be better quality and brighter lights. Just an option.

Don't ask me, because I am not sure which brands/models fit well - maybe try another post, because I know a few people have swapped them.

Good luck!

Mine is fully broken on one and i went into the dealership he quoted me 145 for the replacement... now im looking into other options piaa has a model that will fit right into my mp3 (have one for p5 too) for what my local dealer said 225 but they have been known to run high prices so im going to call around more... now if you wanna pay 60 bucks more for the best in the market then thats your thing... i sure do think its worth it. Plus they come with a nice cage around the glass to help prevent rocks from cracking em again

Thanks for the response hihoslva and mp3_559 ,well I gave the dealer a call and well, surprise surprise !!,It will cost $ 176 (cdn) plus tax (of course)!!! Man kiss me before you F***K me !!!!!!.I think I will wait a bit or maybe check my options ,such as the PIAA lights ,they look stock size and I am sure they are a little more durable than the stock Mazda ones.
Grooooooooaaannnnnnnn!!!!!

see if you can get ahold of the manufacture of the lens and get a replacement lens if possible. I have not taken mine apart to know if this is possible
